Peter A. Bleszynski, MD, FACC, FSCAI

Dr. Bleszynski is an Interventional Cardiologist and performs procedures such as stents to open blocked arteries in the heart causing chest pain / heart attacks or other symptoms. He also specializes in the evaluation and treatment of structural heart disease, performing aortic valve replacements (TAVR), left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) for atrial fibrillation, atrial septal defect (ASD) / patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure, and alcohol septal ablation (ASA). He places emphasis on preventive medicine treating high blood pressure, high cholesterol and other risk factors. Special interests include valvular heart disease, chronic total occlusions (CTO) and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). He has had media appearances on TV (Channel 8 News Rochester) with the American Heart Association to discuss cardiac health with the community. Dr. Bleszynski has authored several manuscripts and a book chapter. His patients describe him as caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable.
